This newly created role combines managerial and clinical responsibilities, providing specialist advice and support through a team of multi-skilled practitioners. The Circle to Success Service works alongside social work teams providing direct interventions to children young people and their families where opportunities have been identified through the care planning process for children and young people to live within family settings or progress towards independence. This includes some young people who are on the ‘edge of care’ and require support to remain living within their families. In this role, you will provide an evidence-based and systemic therapeutic service to children and their families. You will offer direct interventions, assessments of therapeutic need, and consultation to colleagues. Your work will help prevent family or placement breakdown through early interventions and support. You will supervise Family Support Workers and Family Connections Workers, ensuring high standards of practice and record-keeping. Additionally, you will collaborate with partner agencies to develop creative solutions for children in care and those on the edge of care, produce comprehensive reports, and provide expert testimony in court when required. Therefore, if you are interested, we encourage you to submit your application as early as possible.About youQualifications: You hold a graduate professional qualification (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse) and an MSc Systemic Professional Qualification or are in the final year of completing it.Experience: You have clinical experience working with families in contexts of risk, management and supervisory experience in CAMHS or social care settings, and experience working with vulnerable groups and individuals within diverse ethnic communities.Skills: You excel in undertaking assessments of therapeutic need, providing consultation, and working independently in various settings.
