Northamptonshire Children’s Trust Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Service (SQAS) are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join the service. We are looking for candidates who are flexible, dynamic, solution-focused and a good communicator with experience in business support for frontline and operational services.

The role can be based either at One Angel Square, Northampton or at William Knibb Centre, Kettering.

This post will support our Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Service, including Independent Reviewing Officers/Child Protection Chairs and Designated Officers who are based across the county.

What will you be doing?As part of this team, you will be party to confidential and sensitive information about children their families and carers. The role will require you to convene, and or minute take all aspects of Child Protection Conferences/Child in Care Reviews and Joint Evaluation Meetings. This includes preparing and distributing invitation letters, booking meeting venues, and collating reports.

You will provide proactive support to ensure that all electronic records are accurate and up to date in relation to Child Protection Conferences/Children in Care reviews and Local Designated Officer files.

You will be required to liaise with Service Managers, Local Authority Designated Officers, Social Workers, and other internal and external partners.

About youYou will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritise and work independently to strict deadlines is essential. Previous experience of minute taking is desirable. Full training will be provided.

You will be required to liaise with Service Managers, Local Authority Designated Officers, Social Workers, and other internal and external partners.
